This is a very good book!  I read a few of the reviews and a lot of them talk about the excerpts from Octavia's books that are scattered through out the novel.  I love the little book snippets.  I think they really go along with the main story plau give us a deeper view into Octavia's life and her story.  And actually I would love to read each of those novels.

I really feel bad for Octavia because she has been estranged from her son for 4 years and then out of nowhere she sees a news broadcast about her son.  If that wasn't bad enough, she sees that he has been arrested for the murder f his live in girlfriend.  In a burst of maternal instinct, she flies to LA to be at her son's side.  Upon arrival she realizes that not much has changed and he still doesn't want to see her. 

Octavia realizes that endings cannot be changed but that sometimes what you thought was the end turns out to only be a pause.  I HIGHLY recommend this book!!  Rate:
